Pronunciation: meh-tah-Noy-ah

Meaning:

The journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self or way of life.

or

Change in one’s way of life resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion.

Synonyms: Conversion, Transformation, Change, Alteration and Rebirth.

Antonyms: Stagnation, Idleness and Sameness.

Word Origin:  Greek, from metanoein ‘change one’s mind’ 

It’s use in a sentence: “what he demanded of people was metanoia, repentance, a complete change of heart”

      You have any ideas as to what should be that character’s personality? I guess Metanoia will have to have some really crazy and weird issues! lol! 😉

      1. Free spirited, wise but not in the usual way. A character that, like you say, clearly has some issues but sometimes they are not clear. Appears lost but really is not, and the great thing about it is the name could be for someone who is completely gender neutral which like the name goes quite well.

          OMG, I guess we’re really tearing this word piece by piece apart! lol! 😉
