Hello, I’m Heena.

I am an award-winning author and a developmental editor with over a decade of experience, specialising in Amazon bestselling books across both fiction and non-fiction. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 100 authors, predominantly from outside India. My expertise lies in editing books written by NRIs, where I help bridge the cultural differences between India and the rest of the world.

I’ve completed several certificate courses (with honours) from prestigious institutions, including Harvard University (English Literature, The Art of Rhetoric, and Philosophy), Yale University (Human Psychology), the University of Edinburgh (Philosophy), and the University of Queensland (Creative Writing and English Language).

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some remarkable clients, including a retired RAW agent, a celebrated Oxford professor, a research scientist, the MD of a renowned international corporation, and numerous professionals from IITs and IIMs. These individuals have trusted me to help them share their fictional and real-life stories with the world.

My life is fully dedicated to creative writing and to spreading awareness about literature, writing, and the joy of reading. I’m an avid reader, going through anywhere between 100 to 120 books every year, and I’m quite selective about the books I choose. If you’re curious about my reading journey, you can check out my videos on the books I read on GoodreadsInstagram, or my YouTube channel.
